Minister Branch was taught at The Mount Joy Baptist Church under the Leadership of Reverend Carey E. Pointer, Jr. Trained in evangelism 101-404 guided in Ministry under Pastor Bruce E. Mitchell Sr. Minister Branch attended many National Baptist Conventions and graduated from The Washington Baptist Seminary June 12, 1995.
Minister Branch served as a Youth Minister, Sunday School teacher, Director of Sunday school, Boy Scouts of America assistant, Vacation Bible School teacher, Dean of The Bible Institute, Men’s Ministry president, Evangelism outreach ministry, Young Adult Usher Board, and Assistant to the Pastor.
God was far from finished, the next chapter in Minister Branch’s life would be to assist Rev. Frank Bryant Jr., Pastor of Whole Life Ministries International as the assistant pastor and Minister of Education. These two positions are only a few of the many tasks that the Lord has given him in this season of his life. Minister Terrence G. Branch, Sr. was elevated and ordained in the Gospel Ministry as Reverend Terrence G. Branch, Sr. on Sunday, September 23, 2012.
As an Ambassador of Christ his foundational scripture is Ephesians 4:20 which reads… of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. To me who am less than the least of all saints, this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches in Christ.
Terrence G. Branch is the son of Alice Farmer and Charles Wimbish. Born and raised in SW Washington DC, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of 19. He was baptized and became a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church under the pastoral teaching of the Rev. Carey E. Pointer, Jr. In 1987 he married Karen M. Woodson, out of this union two beautiful children were born, Terrell and Terrence Jr. On October 21, 1991 Minister Branch preached his initial sermon and received his license to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
